In my practice I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as my primary modality. EFT has been proven effective for relationship therapy and backed by extensive research. You will learn to understand the conflict cycle and patterns of behavior that you are stuck in. By slowing things down, we explore the emotions, perceptions, fears, and deep, core needs that are hidden underneath the reactive behavior. As you begin to understand yourself and your partner, your perceptions will shift which de-escalates conflict and replaces distress with emotional closeness.

When relationships feel aligned, we are filled with great joy. When they feel disconnected, we can experience tremendous isolation, hopelessness, and anxiety. I will help you learn to express your needs in a way that your partner can hear, respond to, and emotionally engage in. You will also to learn to reach for your partner with a felt sense that you matter and are valued.
