ABOUT Me
Taking time for yourself isn’t selfish—it’s essential. In the space we create together, you can slow down, reflect, and work through challenges with clarity and support. Healing begins when you give yourself permission to pause and prioritize your well-being.
Why ME?
Choosing a therapist is deeply personal. I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. With a trauma-informed, relational approach, I meet you where you are—and walk with you toward healing and meaningful change.
HOW I WORK
What Working With Me Looks Like
My approach is collaborative, gentle, and rooted in trust. I combine evidence-based methods with a deep respect for your lived experience, creating a safe space where meaningful change can unfold at your pace.
Initial Consultation
We’ll begin with a warm, no-pressure conversation where you can share what brings you to therapy. This is a chance for us to explore your goals, answer your questions, and determine if we’re a good therapeutic fit.
Personalized Therapy Plan
Together, we’ll design a therapy plan that reflects your needs and values. My approach is client-centered, relational, and trauma-informed. Depending on what serves you best, I may integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), mindfulness practices, parts work, or cognitive approaches like CBT and ACT. Each plan is uniquely tailored to your pace and emotional readiness.
Ongoing Support
Therapy is a journey, not a quick fix. I provide a compassionate, consistent space where you can safely explore emotions, heal attachment injuries, and build resilience. As trust and safety grow, we’ll continue refining your path toward connection, self-awareness, and meaningful change—whether in your personal life or relationships.
I’m so glad you’re here. I am Tricia (she/her/hers) and I love being a therapist. I am naturally drawn to people’s stories and emotions. I am fascinated by the complexity of the human mind and how early experiences shape who we become. I value connection, compassion, and the power of human resilience.
I completed my Masters in Counseling Psychology and became a therapist, propelled into switching careers because of my own journey into healing. I know what it feels like to sit in a client’s chair. Witnessing the transformation within myself and now with my clients has been quite powerful and deeply meaningful. Through the safety of the therapeutic space, I am not just hearing people’s stories, I have seen my clients organically shift into meaningful change and rewrite their stories through moments in time. I am inspired by your willingness and courage to break and rebuild injurious patterns within yourself, inter-relationally, and intergenerationally. It is my honor to be a part of your journey.
I have a multicultural background and I am an immigrant from Asia. I am in an interracial relationship and navigate the complexities of assimilation, acculturation, while honoring roots and holding new truths. I navigate life as a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Becoming a therapist didn’t happen instantly, it has been a culmination of decades of looking inwards and blending my life experience with my education and training. My prior experience includes almost 20 years in a corporate setting in Silicon Valley. I am well-versed in the stress and demands and all that comes with a corporate environment. All of these experiences and identities have inspired and informed who I am as a therapist.
